NHSP: Eric Williams was killed after his Honda Civic veered into the opposite lane and collided with a Subaru Forester.

WINCHESTER, NH — A Massachusetts man lost his life last night after a crash on Route 10 in Winchester, according to New Hampshire State Police. Eric Williams, 29, of Springfield, MA, was reportedly driving his 1998 Honda Civic on the northbound side of the highway about two miles north of the New Hampshire-Massachusetts state line. “For unknown reasons,” according to Trooper Michael McLaughlin of the NHSP, his vehicle crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Subaru Forester being driven by an elderly Vermont man.
“As a result of this the operator of the Honda Civic suffered life threatening injuries in which he succumbed to those injuries at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene,” according to McLaughlin. “The operator of the Subaru Forester suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA.”
Assisting on scene were members of the NH State Police Troop C Barracks, Winchester Police Department, Winchester Fire and Rescue/EMS Crews and Northfield MA Police.
