Milford Area Players Bring 'Arsenic & Old Lace' To Amato Center Stage
The dark comedy features the Brewster sisters and their unique hospitality from March 6 to March 15.

MILFORD, NH — The Milford Area Players are set to present the classic dark comedy "Arsenic & Old Lace" at the Amato Center for the Performing Arts.
The production will run from March 6 through March 15.
Directed by Alyssa O’Mara, the play introduces audiences to the Brewster sisters, Abby and Martha. These characters are described as pillars of kindness in their Brooklyn neighborhood, known for their hospitality and homemade elderberry wine. Their methods, however, are said to be unconventional.

Lindsay Garneau and Kaydee Clapper portray the Brewster sisters. They are noted for bringing warmth, wit, and comic timing to their roles. As family secrets emerge and new visitors arrive, the Brewster household becomes the setting for escalating comedic events.
"Arsenic & Old Lace" first premiered more than 80 years ago and is known for its rapid-fire jokes and eccentric characters. The Milford Area Players invite the community to experience an evening of laughter and surprises.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays. The show schedule includes Friday, March 6; Saturday, March 7; Sunday, March 8; Friday, March 13; Saturday, March 14; and Sunday, March 15.
Tickets for the performances are priced at $20 for adults. Seniors and students can purchase tickets for $15. Tickets can be bought at the door before each performance or online through the Milford Area Players’ website. The Milford Area Players encourage attendance to support local arts and enjoy a night of classic theater.
