During the process of doing this, a motorist reportedly stopped in traffic and began yelling profanities at an officer and DOT workers, according to Lt. Matthew Tarleton of the Merrimack Police Department.

“The officer subsequently made contact with the motorist, shortly thereafter identified as the above Brent M. Callahan, and ordered him to cease yelling,” Tarleton alleged. “After repeated requests to stop, Callahan refused to do so, continuing to yell profanities and then driving away from the scene at a high rate of speed. After further investigation a warrant was drafted for Callahan’s arrest. With the assistance of Milford Police, Callahan was located and taken into custody.”
