
Michael Thomas, 29, of 371 Nashua St., Milford, was arrested Jan. 14 for driving while being certified as a habitual offender, a class B felony; and driving without giving proof, a class A misdemeanor.
On January 14, 2013 at approximately 8:26 p.m., police stopped a vehicle Thomas was driving on Water Street. A records check confirmed Thomas’ New Hampshire operating privileges were suspended as he was certified as a habitual offender.
It also showed his financial responsibility status was suspended for lack of insurance. The felony offense is punishable by up to five years in prison, exclusive of fines. The misdemeanor offense is punishable by up to a year in jail, exclusive of fines. Thomas was held at the Nashua Police Department on $2,000 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on January 15th, 2013.
