Milford High School Evacuated
School officials in the Milford School District evacuate students and staff over roof concerns caused by excess snow.

MILFORD, NH --- Around 7:30 AM EST this morning a teacher noticed that a skylight had shifted; around 7:45 AM EST this morning all students and staff members were unexpectedly evacuated from Milford High School by school officials, all students and staff went to the neighboring Milford Middle School. Later on, the Fire Chief Jack Kelly had said the skyline had dropped 3-4 inches, thus making dangerous conditions pertaining to safety.
The cause for an emergency evacuation was the excess accumulation of snow on the roof of the Milford High School, and fear of structural damages and student body safety. Some Milford School Parents are irate, quoting that ”Milford School Administration should have foreseen this, due to the great deals of snow we have been getting” and ”They should have managed themselves better, absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable”.
School Officials have scheduled an appointment with a company, that will “professionally” clean off the High School roof on Monday, but that company may be coming before Monday.Until then, Bob Suprenant of the Milford School District and his staff are monitoring the hallways for leaks, and according to Suprenant “...everything is OK up until this point”.
