Milford Man Arraigned in Mass. on Weapons Charges

John Miller, 29, faces 20 weapons-related charges including firearms trafficking in the Bay State.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan stated that John Miller, 29, of Milford, was arraigned Wednesday on 20 weapons-related charges including firearms trafficking, unlicensed sale of an assault weapon, possession of a firearm without a license, and multiple counts of possession of large capacity firearms and ammunition.

Judge Michael Brooks set bail at $20,000 cash and ordered the defendant to wear a GPS monitoring device, and to not leave Massachusetts.

The next scheduled hearing in this case is Tuesday, Nov. 17.

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, Tewksbury Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) arrested the defendant as part of a joint criminal investigation into an individual attempting to illegally sell firearms. The defendant allegedly sold the firearms and ammunition to an undercover ATF agent. He did not have a firearms dealer’s license, a license to carry in Massachusetts, or a firearms identification card.

The Tewksbury Police Department, ATF, and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office are investigating this incident.
