Milford Man Indicted for Reckless Conduct
James T. Carney accused of placing others in danger by shooting a gun in their vicinity.

Hillsborough County grand jurors have indicted James T. Carney, 41, of 15 Amherst St., Apt. 2-B, Milford, for reckless conduct, a Class B Felony subject to 3 1/2 to 7 years and up to a $4,000 fine.
The October indictment alleges that Carney "recklessly engaged in conduct, using a deadly weapon..." and "which may have placed another in danger of serious bodily injury by shooting a gun in the vicinity of Sarah Charbonneau and Brian Williams. ..."
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, but a formal charge that a grand jury has found warrants a trial.
