Milford Police Close Case on Lorinda White Death

The Milford Police Department has concluded its investigation into the death of Lorinda White and the state Medical Examiner's Office determined the manner of death to be accidental.

Milford Police announced the case closed in a press release issued Oct. 9.

Police initially received a report of a deceased person behind the Jacques School on Elm Street on Aug. 10, at about 11:25 a.m. Investigating officers identified the woman on Aug. 16 as White, 51, of Milford, who had been reported missing on Aug. 5.

Police said no additional information would be released in connection with the case.
