Police: Mass. Man Violated Protective Order
The following arrests were reported Oct. 29 by the Milford Police Department.

The Milford Police Department's arrest log released Oct. 29 includes the following:
- Gary Joseph Ionta, 55, of 70 Sutton St., North Andover, Mass., was charged with violation and contempt of a protective order, contempt for default/breach of bail conditions, on Oct. 23. He was given $25,000 cash bail and taken to the Hillsborough County jail and has a Nov. 28 court date.
- Niles V. Laplant Jr., 48, of 81 Antrim Road, Hillsborough, taken into protective custody for alleged drunkenness, and later released to a responsible party.
- Joshua William Beard, 26, of 229 Nashua St. Apt. 4, Milford, charged Oct. 24 with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled drug. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and has a Nov. 29 court date.
- Lyndsy A. Hewey, 26, of 123 South St. Apt. #E, Milford, charged with simple assault on Oct. 25, released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail and awaits a Nov. 19 court date.
- Dawn A. Beyer, 50, of 54 Maple St., Wilton, charged with second degree assault on Oct. 26 and has a Nov. 19 court date on the alleged aggravated assault.
- Samuel A. Young, 18, of 42 Russell Hill Road, Brookline, was charged with possession of drugs in a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of a controlled/narcotic drug, unlawful possession of alcohol, sale of a controlled drug, and transportation of liquor. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and has a Nov. 19 court date on the allegations.
