Milford Police Probe Forgery, Thefts

Milford police responded to several recent complaints of theft, assault and harassment.

The following are excerpts from the Milford Police Department's activity log, Dec. 24 to Dec. 31, 2012:

  • Investigate theft complaint on Oak Street on Dec. 24.
  • Respond to auto shop at 539 Elm St. for reported burglary Dec. 25.
  • Respond to an apartment at 25 Border St. for complaint of theft from a vehicle on Dec. 25.
  • Simple assault and traffic disturbance at 135 Elm St. on Dec. 25.
  • Respond to 85 Elm St., Apt. 4, for reported simple assault and criminal mischief Dec. 28.
  • Criminal mischief reported at Ralph Porter's Service Station Dec. 26.
  • Reported theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories from Auto Brokers of Milford on Dec. 26.
  • Respond to Family Dollar store on Elm Street for report of theft, and criminal liability for the conduct of another, on Dec. 27.
  • Complaint of harassment, via phone, at a Mont Vernon Street location on Dec. 27.
  • Reported burglary at 40 Nashua St., Apt. 4, on Dec. 27.
  • Domestic disturbance, criminal mischief and simple assault reported at 95 Powers St. on Dec. 28.
  • Complaint of domestic disturbance and harassment (phone, intimidation) from an apartment at Brookstone Manor Dec. 29.
  • Forgery report from People's United Bank on Dec. 29.
  • Simple assault reported at the Pasta Loft Restaurant & Pub Dec. 31.
  • Phone harassment reported to the police station on Dec. 31.
