NH Auto Show and More This Weekend

Plus, other stuff to do around the Granite State.

  • NH Auto Show. At the New Hampshire Sportsplex in Bedford starting from noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, the first New Hampshire Auto Show will be held. Check out the new cars, trucks, and SUVs, off-road vehicles, as well as new automotive technology on display. Tickets are $5, children 6 and under and active duty military are free. 
  • Beauty and the Beast. The junior version of the Disney musical, featuring more than 50 kids from the capital region, will be presented at the Concord City Auditorium on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10.
  • Rivier University Open House. The open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday in the Muldoon Gymnasium. Learn the educational options available at the school, enjoy a bite to eat, and speak with faculty.
  • Fair and Flea Market. The annual Harvest Fair and Flea Market will be held at St. James United Methodist Church in Merrimack from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. Find all kinds of food, crafts, plants, and other items for sale. A fundraising dinner will be held afterwards.
  • Fire Open House. The Londonderry Fire Department will host an open house at the central station from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
  • Salemhaven fundraiser. Salemhaven Nursing and Rehab hosts a fundraiser starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday at FroyoWorld on North Broadway. Mention “Salemhaven,” and 20 percent of your order will go to the residents activity fund.
  • Spooky Times. The Windham Actors Guild offers a Halloween Bash at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Searles School and Chapel. Tickets are $20 (two for $35), and include music, food, and merriment.
  • Wet and Wild Fun Run. At 10 a.m. on Sunday, head over to Freestyle Farm in Amherst for the annual Wet and Wild Fun Run. The run offers two courses – a hike and run, and a four miler.
