Nominations Sought For Milford Luminaries Honor

Alene Candles launches program to make $1,000 donation in each community contributor's name to the non-profit of their choice.

Milford, NH — Community members have until Oct. 18 to nominate local volunteers and leaders for Alene Candles’ Milford Luminaries program. The company launched the new program last month to honor four outstanding individuals for their contributions to the Milford community.

As part of the new program, Alene will contribute $4,000 to the community, with each "Luminary" choosing a nonprofit to receive a $1,000 donation. Nominations can be submitted at www.alene.com/milfordluminaries.

"Milford is a unique community with a culture focused on giving back and helping one another,” said Rod Harl, President of Alene Candles. "We created the Milford Luminaries program to spotlight the unsung heroes of Milford who do wonderful things for all of us in the community. We have received several impressive submissions thus far and look forward to even more outstanding nominations."
