Pair Arrested on Burglary Charges in Nashua
Justin Atwood of Bedford and Raymond Szarko of Milford allegedly broke into Jordan's Furniture earlier this week.
NASHUA, NH - Two men were arrested for burglarizing a local furniture store, according to police.
Justin Atwood, 25, pictured left, of New Boston Road in Bedford, and Raymond Szarko, 25, of Richardson Road in Milford, were both arrested on April 24, 2016, and charged with felony burglary and resisting arrest.

Police were sent to an alarm activation at the Jordan’s Furniture on the Daniel Webster Highway at around 1 a.m., according to a report.

When they arrived, the officers began a security check of the building and allegedly located Atwood and Szarko in a rear office.
“Officers ordered both individuals to stop, but Atwood and Szarko fled the scene,” according to Lt. Craig Allard of the Nashua Police Department. “A short foot pursuit ensued before both individuals were taken into custody.”
Szarko was processed and released on $7,500 cash bail. Atwood was held at the Hillsborough Count House of Corrections and arraigned on April 25.
If convicted, they face up to eight years in prison as well as fines.
According to online reports, Atwood was arrested in June 2015 in Mason for criminal trespass. Szarko was arrested on a driving charge in December 2015, according to Milford NH Patch. He was arrested for hawking and peddling without a license in April 2012 in Deering, after residents complained about “pushy steak truck drivers” from New York.
