POLL RESULTS: Marilinda by a Nose?

Patch readers show solid support but it's still anyone's race.

During the weekend, on the six New Hampshire Patch sites in the 2nd Congressional District, we asked voters who their preferred candidate was in the Republican primary to be held on Sept. 9.

One Hundred and 50 people responded and voted for Marilinda Garcia by about 13 percent over Gary Lambert, who received a little more than 29 percent, and Jim Lawrence, who received 24 percent.

Mike Little, a fourth candidate, was far behind with less than 5 percent.

Of course, as with all online polls, it’s unscientific and put together just for fun and to get a quick sampling of the political landscape. As well, the poll did shut down a tad early, so who knows what the results will be.

Patch will be posting the results from Republican gubernatorial and Senate polls this afternoon.
