POLL RESULTS: Mooney Solid in Patch Poll

Two days ago, Amherst, Merrimack, and Milford Patch asked readers to vote in an online poll sampling potential voter feedback for the District 11 state Senate primary, which also represents Wilton.

Eighty-seven readers voted in the poll and Maureen Mooney bested all of her primary rivals – Daniel Dwyer, Dan Hynes, and Gary Daniels – by a two-to-one margin.

The poll is not scientific in any way, and put together just for fun to see what readers of the district are thinking about the primary.

The winner of the primary will face Democrat Roger Tilton in the general election.

More political polls will be put up during the coming days before the Sept. 9, primary.
