School Bus, Police Cruiser, Mercury Cougar Crash
Three vehicles crash on Route 3 in Northumberland

On Dec. 11, at approximately 3:05 PM, a motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles occurred on Route 3 in the Town of Northumberland at the intersection with Dean Brook Road. The crash involved a school bus and a marked NH State Police cruiser.
Zeek Winn, 16 of Groveton was driving a 1994 Mercury Cougar and was stopped on Dean Brook Road at the intersection with Route 3.
Sheryl Page, age 50 of Groveton, was driving a 2009 Freightliner school bus owned by W.W. Berry Transportation and was stopped on Route 3 south while waiting to turn left onto Dean Brook Road.

Trooper Nicholas Post, 24 and assigned to Troop F, was traveling north on Route 3 in a 2006 Dodge Charger.
Winn attempted to make a left hand turn onto Route 3 southbound and the front of his vehicle struck the right front corner of Tr. Post’s cruiser. The impact caused the left front corner of the cruiser to make contact with the left front corner of the school bus.

The school bus was carrying 18 students at the time of the crash and received very minor damage. No injuries were reported.
The crash is being investigated by the NH State Police- Troop F and they were assisted at the scene by the NH State Police- Troop G and the Northumberland Police Department. Northumberland Fire and Ambulance personnel also responded to the scene.
