Why are you seeking elective office?
I want to make State government more practical and fair. In the last two years, extremists have dominated the Legislature and acted against the best interest of NH citizens and our future, and I hope to help reverse that trend.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Inadequate State support for education at all levels, especially local public schools, and an unfair and unworkable financing mechanism for them too heavily based on property taxes.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I will vote to protect your privacy and autonomy (including abortion rights and legalizing cannabis).
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
The Republican incumbents have voted to cut nearly all taxes except the property taxes, forcing those to take an even larger share of the costs.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As an engineer, one must find solutions that actually work. I'm committed to finding practical solutions to our problems and positioning NH to lead the future.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Be nice to the secretaries - they really make everything work.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
