State Arrests Man for Arson

James Reardon was arrested for allegedly setting the house he was living in on fire, according to State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan.

GREENVILLE, NH - State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan announced with Greenville Fire Chief Charles Buttrick and Temple/Greenville Police Chief James McTauge on March 13, 2016, a fire investigation at 55 Adams Ave. in the town of Greenville, involving an arrest. No one was injured, according to a press statement. The home is a total loss.

The fire occurred on March 12, 2016, at approximately 11:08 p.m. Arriving Greenville Fire Department members found a residence fully involved with fire. The ensuing investigation determined an incendiary fire.

James Reardon, 20, of 55 Adams Ave. in Greenville was arrested and charged with the crime of arson. He is currently being held with no bail at the Hillsborough County jail and will have a court hearing Monday March 14, 2016 in 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey.
