Trump Wins Milford

MILFORD, NH- Milford had a strong voter turnout with 72.9 percent or 8, 376 voters showing at the polls.

Republican Donald Trump beat out Democrat Hillary Clinton by 34 votes in Milford. Trump received 3,850 votes, while Clinton received 3,816 votes. Libertarian Gary Johnson received 398 votes, Green Party Jill Stein received 73, and American Delta Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente received 5.

The other races were close, as well. Republican Chris Sununu’s 3,920 votes beat out Democrat Colin Van Ostern’s 3,658 for Governor. Libertarian Max Abramson received 463 votes.

Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-NH won the Senator race in Milford with 3,964 votes to Democrat Maggie Hassan’s 3,866. Independent, Aaron Day received 216 votes and Libertarian Brian Chabot received 185.

Republican Jim Lawrence won the Representative race over Democratic Rep. Ann McLane Kuster. Lawrence received 3,730 votes to Rep. Kuster’s 3,647. Independent John J. Babiarz received 525 votes.
