2015 marks the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. Come celebrate the music from the era. Richard Kruppa brings to light the fascinating and unfamiliar stories about some of our most beloved wartime songs, including Bluebirds Over The White Cliffs of Dover, Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition, and Sentimental Journey. Learn the answers to these questions “What popular song was written in response to the bombing of Pearl Harbor? What song, popular here and abroad, was written to lift the spirits of our allies prior to our involvement in World War II?
Richard Kruppa, known musically as Ramblin Richard, sings these songs and tells their stories as he accompanies himself on acoustic instruments including guitar, banjo, and ukulele.
