Approximately 80 to 100 gals of motor oil overflowed from an in ground tank while receiving a delivery.
Improper tank filling technique may have contributed to a 100-gallon oil spill at Jiffy Lube, 77 East Hollis Drive.
A Haz Mat crew responded to the scene at about 12:15 p.m. June 29 to find between 80-100 gallons of oil had spilled outside the business.

Crews contained the spill without contamination to any storm drains. Nashua Public Works assisted Nashua Fired Department by providing materials and manpower needed to contain the spill.
The cause remains under investigation, but initial reporting from the scene may lead to failure to follow proper tank filling procedure, fire officials said.
