14 Arrested Nashua Crime Sweep: ICYMI

The latest Nashua "Granite Hammer" crime sweep Friday resulted in 14 arrests.

NASHUA, NH — The latest Nashua crime sweep netted 14 arrests, police announced Saturday. The "Granite Hammer" sweep resulted in 13 arrests for drug crimes and one arrest for prostitution. Most of the suspects are from Nashua and Hudson and two are from Massachusetts.

"These arrests came at the conclusion of extensive investigations into the distribution of illegal drugs in Nashua," Nashua police Lt. Kevin Rourke said in a statement.

The Granite Hammer crime sweep program is a recent collaboration between New Hampshire police agencies and the FBI targeting drug trafficking, especially involving heroin. In Nashua alone, more than 100 suspects have been arrested in the last year.
