2 Arrested In Nashua Granite Shield Drug Sweep

Nashua police said Daniel Kovich and Patrice Richardson were charged with a host of drug crimes.

NASHUA, NH — Two individuals were arrested in the latest Nashua police Granite Shield drug sweep Wednesday. Granite Shield is a state-funded police program targeting opioid distribution. Wednesday's sweep was the second this month.

Daniel Kovich, 58, of Nashua, was charged with seven counts of drug possession with intent to distribute (second offense). Police said the drug charges were related to buprenorphine, hydrochloride, naloxone, hydrochloride, suboxone, clonazepam, diazepam, acetaminophen, hydrocodone bitartrate and marijuana. He was released on $200 bond pending an arraignment Dec. 27 in Nashua District Court.

Patrice Richardson, 33, of Nashua, was charged with gabapentin possession and released on bond. She will be arraigned Jan. 15.
