2 Child Predators Arrested In Nashua Sting: Police

Nashua police said they arrested Dana Avery, of Rochester, and Alexander Del More, of Manchester, during a child predator sting.

NASHUA, NH — Two alleged child predators were arrested in Nashua during a police sting, officials announced Monday. The suspects were identified as Dana Avery, 53, of Rochester, and Alexander Del More, 30, of Manchester. Police said the pair "targeted juveniles for sexual activity" online and recently traveled to Nashua to supposedly meet with minors. The minors were actually undercover police agents, authorities said.

Avery was arrested July 21 and charged with three counts of felony prohibited computer use. He was held on $15,000 bail. (Sign up for free daily newsletters and breaking news alerts from Nashua Patch.)

"Avery communicated online with someone who he believed was a fourteen year old female from Nashua," Nashua police Lieutenant Kerry Baxter said in a statement. "The person Avery actually communicated with was a Nashua Detective. Hundreds of messages were exchanged between the two. On multiple occasions Avery stated he wanted to engage in sexual activity with the juvenile female."

Avery is scheduled for a probable cause hearing in Nashua District Court September 25.

Del More was arrested August 4 and charged with felony endangering the welfare of a child and three counts of felony prohibited computer use. He was held on $5,000 bail.

"Del More communicated with someone he believed was a fifteen year old female from Nashua," Baxter said in a statement. "The person Del More actually communicated with was a Nashua Detective. Hundreds of messages were exchanged between the two. On multiple occasions Del More stated he wanted to engage in sexual activity with the juvenile."

Del More is scheduled for a probable cause hearing in Nashua District Court August 17.

Rochester police and Manchester police assisted with the investigation. Nashua police are affiliated with the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
