Nashua Brothers Beat Victim Unconscious: Police

Michael and Nicholas Pavlas were charged with second-degree assault.

NASHUA, NH — Two Nashua brothers were arrested in connection with the beating of a man on Chestnut Street in November, police announced Thursday. Michael and Nicholas Pavlas were charged with second-degree assault.

On November 17 at about 2 a.m., police responded to Chestnut Street for a report of a disturbance and found an unconscious man with "multiple injuries," Nashua police Lt. Craig Allard said in a statement. The victim was transported to a Boston-area hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

Allard said an investigation led police to the Pavlas pair, who were acquainted with the victim before the attack. The suspects were held on $5,000 pending an arraignment Thursday in Nashua District Court.
