2015 Nashua Bank Robbery: Suspect Arrested

Korey Cholette, of Rochester, and another man robbed the Bellwether Credit Union at gunpoint in July 2015, according to police.

NASHUA, NH — An arrest has been made in a 2015 armed robbery at a Nashua bank, police announced. Korey Cholette, 28, of Rochester, was arrested Thursday in Brentwood and held on $50,000 bail.

Cholette and another man robbed the Bellwether Credit Union on Amherst Street at gunpoint on July 2, 2015, according to Nashua police Lt. Craig Allard. Both suspects were masked and each brandished a pistol as they threatened tellers and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

"After a lengthy and involved investigation Korey Cholette ... was identified as the suspect," Allard said in a statement. Police on Tuesday obtained a warrant for Cholette's arrest then tracking him down to Brentwood Thursday and took him into custody. He was charged with a single count of robbery.

Allard said police are still searching for the second suspect.
