5 Charged With DWI in NH Checkpoints
Five people were charged with DWI in a pair of sobriety checkpoints across the state last night.

Five people were charged with drunk driving in a pair of sobriety checkpoints in New Hampshire Friday night.
State Police conducted one checkpoint in Bedford on Route 101; the other was held in Portsmouth on the Spaulding Turnpike.
In Bedford, two were charged with DWI:

- Robert Mele, 46 of Milford; also charged with drug possession
- Steven Gladysz, 46, of Manchester
A third driver was charged with driving after suspension.
In Portsmouth, three were charged with DWI:

- Christopher Ralph, 26, of Dover
- Lauren Powers, 24, of Chelsea, Mass.; also charged with a having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle and driving without a valid license
- Seth Ulinsky, 40, of Dover
In addition, three were taken into protective custody.
In Bedford, 479 vehicles were screened; in Portsmouth, 436 drivers were screened.
State Police warned more checkpoints are coming this summer.
