5 Things: Larry King to Moderate Third Party Debate

A whole new bunch of Presidential candidates to choose from, and 4 more things.

1. Make Room for Gary, and Friends: Word on the street is that Larry King will moderate a debate among the third-party presidential candidates on Oct. 23, organized by the Free and Equal Elections Foundation. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, Constitution Party candidate Virgil Goode, and Rocky Anderson of the newly formed Justice Party will take the stage for the event, to be broadcast live on Ora online digital TV, as well as the Free and Equal Elections Foundation site.

2. Career Change, Anyone? American Airlines is looking to recruit more than 1,500 flight attendants, posting the new slots next month. Training starts in January. New hires are needed since 2,200 flight attendants accepted buyouts. It will be the first wave of new hires in a decade.

3. Take Your Vitamins: Daily use of a common multivitamin modestly reduced the risk for cancer in a long-term study of nearly 15,000 men, the first time a  trial of this scope found that vitamin supplements provided protection against the disease. The study was funded by the National Institutes of Health, and Pfizer provided Centrum Silver as well as the placebos used for the study.
