5 Things to Do This Weekend

1. Clown around for a good cause: Join Olympic Race-walker Joanne Dow and a crew of clowns from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus on September 18 for the 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Anne-Marie House. This fundraising event for Anne-Marie House, a temporary home for families experiencing homelessness, is organized by the Greater Nashua Interfaith Hospitality Network (GNIHN). Their goal is the elimination of homelessness, one family at a time. First Baptist Church, 121 Manchester St, Nashua, NH. Registration: 1 p.m., Walk: 2:15 p.m., Run: 3:00 p.m.

2. Food Fight, Part 1: Nashua Area Republican Committee Annual "Steak Out" with keynote speaker Andrew Breitbart on September 18, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Nashua. VIP Reception will begin at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will begin at Noon.

Food Fight, Part 2: Nashua Dems Big Tent Barbecue at Greeley Park 100 Concord St, Nashua, NH 03064 (Greeley Park), noon to 3 p.m. http://patch.com/E-h1yW African Drums, music, food with your friends and family, bring the kids for activities/games with prizes for all children and face painting. Guest speakers will be Annie Kuster, Ray Buckley-NH Democratic Party Chair, Terri Norelli, and more speakers to be announced!
