6 Arrested On Drug Charges In Nashua

Nashua police have arrested six people on drug charges as part of the state-funded Operation Granite Shield.

NASHUA, NH Police arrested six people Thursday during another drug sweep as part of Operation Granite Shield, a state-funded program aimed at curbing illegal drug distribution. According to Nashua Police Lt. Brian Kenney, this is the third year that Nashua police have received Granite Shield funding. The program, he said, "allows us to flood the streets with narcotics enforcement."

"We don't have to take our foot off the gas," said Kenney. "There are a lot of arrests that come out of it." According to a statement from the Nashua Police Department, Thursday's arrests were a result of extensive investigations. Nashua police worked with Hudson Police Department on the drug sweep.

Among those arrested was Nashua man Nicholas Guerrero, 23, who was charged with felony sale of heroin, and two Class A misdemeanor counts of theft by unauthorized taking and theft by deception. He was released on bail pending arraignment.

Hudson resident Richard Rowell, 46, was held in jail Thursday night after being charged with felony possession of crack cocaine, second offense, and two felony counts of falsifying physical evidence. He was scheduled for arraignment Friday.

Jonathan Briere, 25, of Wilton, was charged with two felony counts of sales of heroin, second offense. He was also charged with felony possession of cocaine, second offense, and felony falsifying physical evidence. He was released on bail pending arraignment.

Another Wilton resident, Andrew Millward, 66, was charged with felony-level criminal liability to the sale of heroin. He was also released on bail pending arraignment.

Goffstown resident Shannen Tocci, 27, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine. Milford resident Nicole Flanagan, 18, was charged with felony sale of heroin. Both were released on bail pending arraignment at a future date.
