A Young Hero Gone Too Soon

As an entertainment blogger i am always trying to keep up with the latest trends in pop culture so you can imagine my shock and surprise when I heard about Cory Monteith's death.
Monteith rose to fame as Glee's lovable, sometime gullible, jock who cared about everyone and became what many believe to be be the hero and major player in the Glee Universe. It made it okay for jocks to join the glee club.
At just thirty-one, this talented young man had so much more to give and had an amazing career and life ahead of him.
I get a little upset whenever someone dies in Hollywood but this particular death has hit me a little harder than normal. I won't lie. When I first heard about it I thought that it was a joke and that someone was playing a cruel joke, but to see someone only seven years older than me lose their life hurts.
As a Glee and Finn Hudson fan (he was my favorite besides Blaine) this news really upsets me. I am tearing up while writing this.
I have recently stated using Twitter and the other reason why his death is hitting me so hard is because, just a few days ago, Cory was commenting about SyFy's "Sharknado" movie. Knowing that that was his last tweet ever and that he will never tweet again breaks my heart.
Cory, you are an amazing, talented individual who was taken too soon. You made me fall in love with Finn and inspired many people around the world to be themselves. Thank you for being the amazing person you were.
RIP Cory-You will be missed. :(
