Craft beer connoisseurs Brian Aldrich and Michael Meredith have teamed up to take readers on a journey across the New Hampshire craft beer landscape. In their newly released book, New Hampshire Beer: Brewing from Sea to Summit, the authors take us around the Granite State to the many wonderful breweries, beer stores, brewpubs, and other beer places where craft beer sojourners can experience the world of New Hampshire craft beer.
Aldrich will be showcasing the book and talking about the New Hampshire craft beer culture at a book signing at Craft Beer Cellar Nashua on Tuesday June 24 at 6 PM. The formal release of the book is happening at the Sheraton Harborside Hotel in Portsmouth where Aldrich works as a craft beer specialist. That event is scheduled for Thursday June 26th from 6-9 PM. Both events are taking place during New Hampshire Craft Beer Week, which runs from June 21 to June 28. There are craft beer events happening throughout the state.
The craft beer industry is growing rapidly in New Hampshire and around the country. Governor Hassan recently told a big crowd at the opening of a local craft brewery in Merrimack that the craft beer industry is very important to the New Hampshire economy and it feeds the tourism and manufacturing industries. Craft beer is good for New Hampshire.
Aldrich and Meredith have done a nice job putting this craft beer guidebook together. The book will help consumers find great craft beer and great craft beer places in New Hampshire. Their efforts should help an already growing local industry grow even more.
