Why are you seeking elective office?

I am running for office because I absolutely love being a state representative. I love making a difference and working together to make NH a place for everyone to thrive.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

GOP Extremism. In the past session, we’ve seen bills to secede from the United States, rude interruptions about democracy vs republic, and in general, a rowdiness from the other side of the aisle. I am a professional with a track record of working with both sides to get legislation passed that helps all Granite Staters.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have lived my whole life in Nashua. My grandparents moved here as it was a city of opportunity. My parents stayed here to raise their family, and now I raise my family here with my siblings nearby. I’ve seen the changes, I know how we can grow and what young families want and need, and what young professionals and business owners need to thrive. I wear many hats in my life, and use those experiences to see issues with a wide perspective and problem solve with out of the box thinking.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

Commuter Rail. I’ve seen friends move closer to Boston, and out of Nashua because it’s easier to drive out of the city to get to work, than it is to drive into the city at night. There are many benefits to increasing public transportation, including environmental impacts, economic growth, and reducing unsightly and unappealing traffic.

Education. I want to invest in our children and our community by way of our public education system. When children thrive, we all thrive. We all benefit from smart, social, unafraid children, and we should be encouraging that in our community.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have been in this position since 2016. After 3 tries, I did get my bill to ban the unsolicited disclosure of an intimate image passed. I might be stubborn, but I have the results to prove it.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

You can’t control other the actions of people. You do what you believe is right.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
