Amherst Man Arrested After Shooting In Nashua
Alejandro De La Torre Cabral faces four felony reckless conduct charges after a shooting at a home on Sunday.

NASHUA, NH — A man from Amherst has been arrested on reckless conduct charges after a shooting in the Gate City on Sunday.
Police released limited information about the case but stated Alejandro De La Torre Cabral, 22, of Amherst was arrested on four felony reckless conduct counts on Sunday at just before midnight.
About three hours before, police were sent to a home in the city to investigate a shots fire report, Lt. Joshua Albert, of the Narcotics Intelligence Division, said.

“Upon arriving,” he said, “officers located evidence related to the discharging of a firearm.”
Detectives “furthered the investigation” and identified De La Torre Cabral as a suspect.

“(He) discharged a firearm several times into the ground,” Albert said.
De La Torre Cabral was then arrested on the four counts. He was processed and released on $200 cash bail and is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Aug. 4. De La Torre Cabral faces up to 28 years in prison as well as fines.
