NASHUA, NH — Police arrested three people Monday in connection with drug-related crimes involving methamphetamine, heroin and crack cocaine. Nashua residents Frank Pineault, 42, Jennifer Morin, 38, and Yiranel Siri, 20, face charges as a result of the "Granite Shield" drug sweep operation.
Pineault faces felony counts of possession of heroin and methamphetamine and a Class A misdemeanor charge of criminal trespass. He is being held in jail pending arraignment, police said.
Morin is accused of having crack cocaine, and it would be her second drug possession offense, a felony, police say. She was released on bond pending arraignment. Siri faces one count of possession of crack cocaine. He was being held on bail pending arraignment.
Nashua police say that the arrests resulted from extensive investigations of illegal drug distribution in the city. The investigations were conducted as part of the state-funded "Granite Shield" program. The program within the past week also resulted in the arrests of city residents Michael Docos, 61, who was charged on an existing warrant, and Colleen Franzen, 38, who was accused of illegally possessing the drugs Suboxone, Gebapentin, Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim.
