LOWELL, MA — Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union announced four officer appointments, including the promotion of a longtime employee and the addition of three new leaders in business services, business development, and lending.
The credit union promoted Keith Micavich to mortgage origination officer. It also welcomed Lisa Carroll as business services officer, Christopher Del Valle as business development officer, and Michelle Sapienza as vice president and business lending officer.
Micavich has more than 25 years of experience as a mortgage loan officer and has spent 13 of those years with Jeanne D’Arc, according to the announcement. The credit union said he has contributed to the growth of its residential mortgage division. Before joining Jeanne D’Arc, he operated his own mortgage brokerage for seven years.
In his new role, Micavich will manage a team of seven loan officers and senior loan officers and oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential mortgage lending team, according to the announcement. The credit union said he will continue to support its efforts to help members pursue their homeownership goals. A Westford, Massachusetts, native, Micavich graduated cum laude from St. Michael's College and lives in southern New Hampshire with his wife, two children, and dog.
Carroll joins the credit union with more than 15 years of experience in small business and commercial growth at national and regional financial institutions. Jeanne D’Arc said she previously served as vice president and national senior SBA franchise business development officer at Huntington National Bank, where she managed a portfolio of franchise clients, identified lending and bank service opportunities, and built partnerships. She lives in Chelmsford, MA.
Del Valle brings more than a decade of experience in commercial lending, business development, and relationship management across the credit union and banking industries, according to the announcement. In his previous role at Align Credit Union, Jeanne D’Arc said he originated, underwrote, and closed commercial credit solutions, including SBA 7(a), commercial real estate, and auto loans. The announcement also said he completed training through the Massachusetts Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and earned a Moody’s Analytics certification in small business lending.
Sapienza joins Jeanne D’Arc with more than 10 years of experience in commercial lending, according to the announcement. The credit union said she previously worked as vice president, commercial loan officer at Northern Bank and Trust Company, with lending experience in commercial real estate, C&I, SBA, and construction financing. She also spent nearly eight years at Hanscom Federal Credit Union and attended the University of Lowell.
Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union was established in 1912 and describes itself as a full-service, community-based financial cooperative. According to the organization, it is locally owned by more than 100,000 members, has $2.2 billion in assets, and operates branches in Massachusetts, including Chelmsford, and New Hampshire, including Nashua, as well as school branches at Nashua South, a loan center in Lowell, and a mortgage center in Chelmsford.
