Nashua Woman Accused Of Striking A Crying Child In The Face During A Domestic Disturbance (patch.com) — Nashua police have charged a 20-year-old Front Street woman with felony second-degree assault and domestic violence-simple assault after a late-night domestic incident where a 1-year-old boy was injured. The child was treated at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, while the woman was arraigned, released on personal recognizance, and is scheduled for a probable cause hearing in Nashua District Court on June 30.
3. Sheraton Nashua Hotel Plans Casino, Restaurant Expansion (hot969boston.com) — A major expansion is planned for the Sheraton Nashua’s Gate City Casino Hotel, adding nearly 93,000 square feet of gaming space and four new restaurants in two phases. Prosecutors are seeking a lengthy prison term, noting the case only surfaced after the former lawmaker reported an ex-partner, and outlining a history of prior criminal and political controversies.
5. Teenager caught on camera running from police in Nashua appears in court (wmur.com) — Nashua police say a 19-year-old man faces drug and resisting arrest charges after allegedly sprinting past a TV news crew during a foot chase and being tackled by a 70-year-old bystander. Prosecutors cited several open cases as he appeared in court, while his parents say he is entering a rehab program.
