NASHUA, NH — The American Red Cross is scheduled to hold a blood drive at Nashua City Hall from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23.
The drive will take place in the third-floor auditorium at City Hall, 229 Main St., and is sponsored by the city of Nashua’s Employee Wellness Program.
Organizers are urging more people to sign up ahead of the event as summer demand for blood rises. According to the announcement, blood is urgently needed during the summer months, and the Nashua drive is currently at only half its target number of sign-ups.
The event is open to walk-ins, but advance appointments are encouraged. People who want to donate can make an appointment at redcrossblood.org by searching the sponsor code NASHUA. The announcement also says donors can sign up by scanning the QR code included with the event notice.
Donors who participate in the Nashua drive will receive a $15 gift card. The announcement also says donors will get a chance to win a $7,500 prize.
