MEREDITH, NH — A man from Nashua was killed in a motorcycle crash in the Lakes Region on Saturday.
Around 3:30 p.m., New Hampshire State Police troopers were requested to the southbound side of Interstate 93 in Meredith for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle. When they arrived, they found a 2021 Honda CBR600RR motorcycle off the highway. The driver, identified later as Miguel Garcia Jr., 22, of Nashua, veered off the Interstate, lost control of the bike, and slid across the center median to the tree line.
“It was also determined that the crash likely occurred hours earlier,” state police said.
Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene, a report said.
Troopers were assisted by the New Hampton Fire Department.
All aspects of the crash remain under investigation. Anyone with information that may assist in the investigation is asked to contact Trooper Peter Kosakowski at peter.c.kosakowski@dos.nh.gov.
