Man From Nashua Accused Of Threatening To Kill A Woman's Family (patch.com) — Nashua readers should know that local police arrested 37-year-old Jonathan Scott Murphy after a woman reported receiving videos and Facebook messages in which he allegedly threatened to shoot and kill her and her family. Officers say one video showed him firing a gun from a vehicle while riding as a passenger, leading to a felony criminal threatening charge and his continued detention as the case moves to Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
2. GoFundMe Effort Created For Nashua Man Killed In Crash On Route 101 In Amherst (patch.com) — Nashua residents are rallying around the family of 44-year-old Keith Clegg, a local husband and father killed when another vehicle crossed the centerline and struck his oil truck on Route 101 in Amherst. A GoFundMe organized for his wife Lisa and their children has already raised much of its $22,000 goal to help cover funeral costs, household bills, and counseling needs.
3. Nashua Police Searching For Missing Teen; Ask For Public's Help (patch.com) — Nashua police are asking residents to help locate 19-year-old Alexander Cruz, who was reported missing by his family and may still be in the area. He is described as 5-foot-9, about 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and anyone who may have seen him is urged to call Nashua police or the anonymous tip line rather than approach directly.
4. Nashua School District expands policy to cover off-campus cyberbullying (wmur.com) — Nashua families should know that the school district has expanded its bullying policy so cyberbullying between students now counts even when it happens off campus, including at home on weekends. Following new state laws, the Board of Education updated rules so such behavior can trigger school disciplinary action, and must report implementation details to the state by mid-December.
