Nashua's Allison Bergeron Makes New England Rev Girl Finals

The 2013 Rev Girl Finals will be held at Game On! in Boston from 9-11 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, to help determine the 2013 promotional team for the New England Revolution. Ten local women, including Allison Bergeron of Nashua, have made it to the final round of the Boston auditions, where four girls will be selected by an esteemed panel of guest judges to join returning members on the Rev Girls team.  The judging panel will include NESN’s Jenny Dell, Hot 96.9 FM’s Pebbles, Boston’s own boxing champ, Danny O’Connor, Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix & Slate.com contributor Luke O’Neil and Revolution star defender Kevin Alston. Hot 96.9 FM’s Melissa will also serve as the evening’s emcee.

Rev Girls serve as the Revolution’s official promotional team, making appearances throughout the year at home games, community and charity events, photo shoots and other promotional events. The auditions will be made up of three competition rounds, including Revolution trivia, a Q&A session about each finalist, and crowd giveaways to judge fan-interaction skills.

This event is open to the public, ages 21 and older. An additional finals date will be held at Rí Rá in Providence, RI on Thursday, Feb. 7 to round out the squad.
