Solid Waste Pick-Up Schedule

During Thanksgiving week, the normal schedule will be followed from Monday through Wednesday.

On Thursday, November 22, the Four Hills Landfill will be closed, and there will be no curbside collections that day. Thursday’s routes will be picked up on Friday, November 23, and Friday’s routes will be collected on Saturday, November 24.

In anticipation of high volumes of soft yard wastes, the Four Hills Landfill / Nashua Recycling Center will be open extended hours for residents on Saturdays November 10, 17 and 24. On those days, the scale will close down at 12:45 pm, and ONLY RESIDENTIAL soft yard wastes, trash and recycling will be accepted. No construction & demolition debris and no commercial waste will be accepted.

The curbside collection of soft yard waste will continue through the week of November 30, weather permitting. The regular pick up of brush has ended for the season. However, a special exception will be made for brush related to hurricane Sandy. If you have brush that was generated from the storm, you may schedule a brush pick up by calling the Solid Waste Department at 589-3410
