Animal Hospital of Nashua Earns High Marks

Named as one of Top 5 practices in North America.

Call it animal magnetism, if you like. But the combination of teamwork and diversified care earned Animal Hospital of Nashua a Top 5 ranking among practices in North America by the American Animal Hospital Assocation during its annual conference held recently in Denver.

The purpose of the AAHA-Accredited Practice of the Year award is to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of accredited practice teams. Entries were submitted from across the U.S. and Canada and evaluated on their most recent accreditation score, mission and vision, practice design, practice team composition, continuing education and training, community service, and compliance improvement efforts.

“AAHA believes that the success of a veterinary practice depends on the entire team working together to provide excellent care for pets and their people,” said Mike Cavanaugh, DVM, DABVP, AAHA executive director and Chief Executive Officer. “The practices selected as our finalists are staffed by high-performing veterinary teams who demonstrate a passionate commitment to veterinary excellence.”

Only 15 percent of all small animal hospitals in the U.S. have achieved accreditation by the Association.
