B-29 Superfortress on Display in Nashua

"Fifi," the last airworthy B-29 Superfortress, will be on view at the Nashua Airport this weekend.

Nashua, NH — The last airworthy B-29 Superfortress is on view in Nashua this weekend.

"Fifi" was flown over Japan in combat missions during World War II. It was used as a high-altitude heavy bomber. The roughly 100-foot-long craft has four propeller-driven engines.

The plane will be at the Nashua Airport for tours through Sunday as part of a traveling non-profit show.

The show includes over a dozen stops at airports across the country. When Fifi isn't at air shows, it's housed at the Vintage Flying Museum in Fort Worth, Texas.
