Bernie 2020? Sanders Returning To NH Labor Day

Bernie Sanders, reportedly exploring another presidential in 2020, will speak at an important New Hampshire union event on Labor Day.

MANCHESTER, NH — U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, who is reportedly exploring another presidential bid in 2020, is scheduled to return to New Hampshire Labor Day to speak at an important union event. Sanders, 75, will attend the New Hampshire AFL-CIO Labor Day Breakfast Monday, September 4 in Manchester.

"Senator Sanders will address attendees and discuss the ongoing challenges facing American working families, improving the Affordable Care Act, raising the minimum wage, and the need for us to fight for social and racial justice," the New Hampshire AFL-CIO said in statement. "(We are) honored to once again have Senator Sanders as our guest and look forward to discussing building an economy that works for everyone — not just those at the top."

The Hill last month reported Sanders is weighing another presidential bid. Joe Biden, 74, has recently dodged questions about about his possible intent on a presidential run. In April, Biden appeared at another political event in New Hampshire.
