Big Snowstorm Likely to Miss Nashua
Winter Storm Jonas will drop an inch or two of snow on Nashua, according to latest forecasts.

NASHUA, NH — A huge snowstorm expected to drop up to 2 feet of snow in the mid-Atlantic states Thursday night will likely strike a glancing blow on Nashua Saturday—resulting in only an inch or two.

Winter Storm Jonas on Thursday was churning over parts of Virginia and Maryland, where blizzard watches were issued.
But by the time the storm rolls up through New England, it will lose strength. Nashua is expected to get only an inch or two. Southeast Massachusetts and Rhode Island could get up to 6 inches.

The bigger problem for Nashua will likely be strong winds. Gusts could hit 50 mph or higher Saturday and Sunday, possibly knocking out power.
