Why are you seeking elective office?

Sensible, non-ideological leadership is needed in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. We have to ensure that we do not lose the New Hampshire Advantage of limited government, low taxes, economic freedom, prosperity, and respect for all individuals without regard to race, creed, or national origin.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Supporting and promoting towns and cities to bring full education opportunities back for our children is the single most pressing issue. I intend to promote a state budget that assists school districts by funding in-school education and not unwarranted and unsuccessful experiments in online ahd hybrid education models that require only, at best, part-time education of our children.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

This crucial election presents all of us with very important choices.
We will choose between,
- public safety and New Hampshire supporting its law enforcement community, or instead succumbing to false narratives of persistent police abuse and racism.
- New Hampshire supporting and promoting towns and cities that bring education in public schools back to our children, or NH failing our children through unwarranted experiments with failed education models.
- continuing the NH success realized by reasonable state taxation or, instead, adopting the high taxation policies that have so devastated businesses and families across the country in states people are fleeing, such as New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California, and too many others.
- families and religious communities continuing as the foundation of the New Hampshire we so love – some as natives, and others, such as my wife and myself, who came to New Hampshire with our little children years ago – or choosing a socialist alternative of large government, and lost individual rights and opportunities to soar in our lives and our careers.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

They have failed us through partisanship and radical policies. They have refused to pass any significant legislation that allowed input from the Governor or the minority party. They have pursued and repeatedly passed radical social and tax legislation, including three times passing an income tax bill when the state was running a surplus. They ignore the concerns of ordinary people in many different legislative bills, including, as just one example, a truly outrageous bill that would have outlawed wood-burning stoves, all of which Gov. Sununu had to veto.
We need representatives who will reach across the aisle for solutions and avoid radical legislation intended to transform society into something most Nashua voters have no desire to see.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

Ensuring the state is supporting outstanding educational choices for our children; promoting public safety; protecting families; promoting liberty, including the freedom to choose your religion and your political beliefs. We must protect members of all groups in our society from discrimination without allowing that membership to be a basis to discriminate against others.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have been Speaker of the NH House of Representatives and was a member of the NH House for five terms; I was a town school board member and a member of the local citizens' police commission. I founded a business a few years ago which now employs eight people in jobs that did not previously exist and which continues to grow.

The best advice ever shared with me was …

Never forget that the freedom enjoyed by Americans is, across the span of ages, very rare and in the time of one generation can be lost. Each of us in pubic life has one overriding obligation: to pass this freedom on to our children.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I will be able to provide leadership in Concord, as I have in the past, and that leadership will be on behalf of my Ward 9 neighbors, all of Nashua, and our state.
