Bishop Guertin Senior Marching in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
This is the second time that Katie Brink has been able to play in NYC.

For the second Thanksgiving in a row, Nashua resident and Bishop Guertin High School senior Katie Brink will be stepping off from New York City’s Central Park towards Herald Square as a member of the Macy’s Great American Marching Band.
Comprised of 245 student musicians selected from an applicant pool of over 14,000 high school students across the country, this elite marching ensemble will perform for about 3 million spectators on the parade route, before arriving at Herald Square to play for more than 50 million viewers watching NBC’s live television broadcast – and most importantly, ushering in Santa Claus to conclude the parade and officially kick off the holiday season.
Brink was chosen to play lead trumpet this year, based upon her musical ability and achievements. While in New York, she will also have a second opportunity to promote the parade by performing live on the NBC Today Show on Monday, Nov. 24.
