Body Mind Systems, a comprehensive Boston-based martial arts school with locations in Swampscott, Stoneham and West Roxbury, announces that its students, Igor Kaplansky of Melrose, David DeGuzman of Stoneham, Peter Wright of Reading, Jill Person-McCarthy of Wilmington, Zack DeGuzman of Stoneham, Catherine McCarthy of Wilmington, and Bernadett Campbell of Stoneham were all promoted to the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt.
Jeff Carlson of Stoneham was promoted to the rank of 6th Section. Don Hohler of Winchester was promoted to the rank of 5th Section.

John Hanley was promoted to the position of National Instructor, 6th Degree Black Belt. Bob Lee was promoted to the position of Assistant Regional Instructor, 4th Degree Black Belt.
Andrew Dravushak of Nashua, New Hampshire was recognized as an Assistant Head Instructor on a Master’s path.
Kurt Klinzing of Lexington was promoted to the position of Assistant Head Instructor, 3rd Degree Black Belt
Lisa Martin of Nashua, New Hampshire and Matt Scerra of Tewksbury were promoted to the position of Instructor, 3rd Degree Black Belt.
Igor Kaplansky of Melrose, David DeGuzman of Stoneham, Donald Chisholm of Woburn, Joanne Sankus of Woburn, Teresa Doksum of Winchester and Eileen Mullen of Stoneham were promoted to the position of Assistant Instructor, 1st Degree Black Belt
These instructors and students were tested and promoted during a weeklong martial arts seminar in Glenwood Springs, Colorado the week of July 26, 2014.
