Body Of Missing Nashua Woman Found On River Shoreline
The body of Cheryl Bernier, missing since Wednesday, was discovered after a search of the Merrimack and Nashua rivers by police. She was 65.

NASHUA, NH — An elderly woman, missing for the last 36 hours, was found dead along the shoreline of a river in Nashua on Thursday.
Police said Cheryl Bernier, 65, was reported missing on Wednesday after her family reported her missing. Officers were actively searching for her Wednesday and Thursday.
Police said the searches included the area of Walden Pond Drive, including the Nashua and Merrimack rivers. As the Nashua Police Department’s dive unit and unmanned aircraft systems unit were searching the shorelines of the rivers, a body was found just past 3:30 p.m. After removing the body from the river, detectives confirmed it was Bernier.

Police said the death “does not appear suspicious in nature.”
